Soooooooo, I’ve been up to my pointed, little ears in busy.

Sorry-not-sorry for having been gone without even a postcard.

Okay, I’ve been tweeting, so technically, there’s been postcard-ish things.

Kinda.

BUT!  It’s all been work-related.

Except for the Eureka mainlining…and the Jekyll mainlining–that wasn’t strictly work-related.  Oops?

I also had a job interview and was offered the job and didn’t accept it.  I CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN TO Y’ALL WHY I DID THAT.  IT WILL PROBABLY COME BACK TO BITE ME IN THE ASS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

I just finished this guy today.  He started off as a quick one-off piece during the painting day of the Children’s Art Workshops I was teaching for the ARTgarage.  I like him so much that I decided to re-envision him digitally–and evidently, revisit a long ago series I used to do called eloi.

So–that’s a thing that happened.

I dunno.  I kinda like him.

And, other pictures from the workshops (kids more-or-less removed for safety’s sake).

My table at Kids Try Art Free Day!  Yay!

Obviously, I was teaching bookmaking.

Missie and her kiddo at the painted mosaic table.

My unfinished maquette from my sculpture class.  The kids crit’ed mine and everything.  I was so proud.

One of my sculpture kid’s piece.  This is the kid who was adamant the week before about realism.  Maybe I helped to shake something loose for him?

We’ve also had Gallery Nite relatively recently.

It was nice.  I didn’t sell anything, but it was nice.

I’ve also been trying to refine my table because–let’s face it–I’m tired of schlepping everything everywhere. C’est la vie.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, because if I don’t Gnome will be mad (and an angry Gnome is a no fun Gnome), here is Crinoline Vortex (feat. me ‘Trie, eep!) at Gallery Nite.

Okay, I’m gonna go hide my head in shame now.

Courage.
