*hand-waves* It hasn’t been that long. Really.

These are not the droids that you are looking for.

Okay, so seriously, I’ve been teaching SAW for the last bit, and it hasn’t been leaving me capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time.

So–that’s a thing.  That’s why I’ve been MIA.

But, it also means that there are really interesting images from my classes and the samples that I’ve been making for those classes (which were Drawing Basics, Mixed Media Sculpture, Mural Painting, and Acrylic Painting:  Nature Painting–that last one’s been weird for me since I’m not really a painter and have been pinch-hit teaching).

The class, which consists of two students (11 and 16), is really banging this thing out.  They’ve designed it, made the decisions about it, and have done 85% of the work on it (me and a facilitating instructor have been helping).

But, yeah, this is their baby.  They’re doing such a good job; I just wanna squish their faces, I’m so pleased.

Okay, the following are going to be my sample/example pieces from the Drawing Basics class…I have pictures of the kids’ work, but I don’t have them uploaded anywhere.

Yet.

That’s a different post?

So, yes, all the excitement.  There were articles too and everything–and that information is going to happen soon too–but, now, I have to get ready for the Mural Class to come in and work.

Courage.
