or, not so casual. is it casual when it’s the title of the blog post?

***PLEASE NOTE THAT I’M KINDA HAVING A CRANKY DAY, SO THE FOLLOWING IS ME ON A CRANKY DAY.***
although for some reason that i have never understood especially since i was a studio artist at the ARTgarage for three years, they can’t be bothered to spell my name correctly. seriously, they have me listed as katrina rather than ‘trie, and this is reason 4 billion and 5 that i kinda–maybe, sorta–stopped being a studio artist there.
(honestly, i’m not certain that the bio and artist statement that i wrote, gave a hardcopy, and sent a digital file are going to have my proper name or pronouns in them, so this could be fun in ways that are not remotely fun.)
also–the fact that a proper notification of the show wasn’t sent out until last week. *whistles*
i mean, there were, like, mentions in the other (albeit infrequent) newsletters that the ARTgarage sends out, but nothing like there should have been. I’m not even sure that it was on their site? it might have been. admittedly, i didn’t look because, well, i didn’t need the added anxiety and frustration.
whatever. it’s all good.
honestly, except for kelly howlett–who is amazing, and i bow before kelly’s amaze–i don’t know/haven’t seen any of the other artists’ work–at least, i dont’ think i do? i’m a horror with names.–so i have no clue even what the show is going to look like?
WE SHALL SOLDIER ON.
and, because preview is preview is preview, here are my pieces for the show–with video documentation of process (because i’m a sick, twisted person):
i dunno, what do y’all think? tell me in the comments.
i really need to go do other work now, so i’ll leave y’all for now.
